$2 upcharge for an iceburg salad is crazy!
Service and staff were very nice that gets them an A plus. I ordered the burger and about a third of the way through I could taste the MSG. I asked the cook if they use it he said yes in the burger seasoning it's in there. I'm real sensitive to MSG it causes heart palpataions and numbness and I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack. I'm 33 so that feeling scares the living neck out of me. And I just had msg poisoning the day before and that was the first time in a long time at lions choice driving through St. Louis . I'm from out of town and like to try local favorites. I just have to ask from now on at new places.
Top notch food with top notch service our waiter was super attentive to us and our kids very personal service and the burgers we're some of the best I've had. They also have a great selection of specialty drinks. If your going to lake of the Ozarks a stop at Blondie's is a must.
I got rid of what I ate. They comped my meal and the cook made me a burger with just salt and pepper to go. If MSG doesn't bother you. This place is great for you. I can honestly say the staff really was so awesome though. Too bad about the burger seasoning.
Ordered a build your own burger. 1 patty, cheddar, steak butter and mushrooms, no bun and side salad instead of fries. $12
Good burger but stupid price.
I forgot that in some states people are still allowed to smoke in the restaurant so I guess that's the only downfall of this place. The fries here are the BEST fries I have EVER had in my entire life, you can even ask my boyfriend. I don't know what they do to make them so good...but dang. I would drive 5 hours to lake of the Ozarks just for some of these fries again.
Atmosphere is family oriented, burger and fries were cooked perfectly, Blondie's is a place to go anytime for great service and an excellent burger
